Memories from Freshmen/Sophomore Year with Drumline <3

Whenever I see old tag pictures, or hear songs from Backstreet Boys/Nsync, it always brings tears to my eyes..I miss everything so much…from drumline night practices, to those long, hot summer days at band camp, afternoon practices afterschool, bus rides, football games, basketball games, pep rallies, parades, going out to applebee’s/In-n-out/Mickeydee’s after competitions/games, the singing, the teasing, the laughs, our “goodluck wrist pumps” before everytime we performed, the adrenaline rush as we’re called to attention before we perform at a competition, the anxiety as awards are being presented, all the pictures we took, how we were eachothers “family”, how drumline’s the “heartbeat” of the band, dancing to the cadences..just everything that came with it. Although we all complain about how much time it takes up, & how annoying Wicks, Clements, & Steve got…in the end, the memories & friends made are worth everything. This one’s for the Drumline Family & Band kids <3 :’)
